The perfect classic ponte knit made with TENCEL™ Lyocell added nylon and elastane to obtain the characterics of a classic ponte knit (also known as Ponte Roma, Punta de Roma or Romanit).
This weighty ponte knit has the ideal properties for garments that require a rather structured drape and a firm elastic stretch with excellent stretch recovery. It’s not exactly shiny, but it does have some sheen.
Ponte knit fabric is a double knit, which means that both sides are face sides. It can also be cut and left with raw edges without fraying or rolling.

Wat is Tencel ook alweer?
Tencel is gemaakt van houtpulp van duurzaam gecertificeerde beuken- en eucalyptusbomen, waar vezels van worden gemaakt die kunnen worden gesponnen. De samenstelling van natuurlijke vezels uit het hout, maakt Tencel uiterst comfortabel om te dragen. Het is zacht en ademend, en het heeft een heel goed vermogen om vocht op te nemen en weer los te laten.

De vezels zijn van nature antibacterieel, waardoor wassen minder nodig is. De natuurlijke vezels zijn antistatisch en hechten niet aan het lichaam. De Tencel die gebruikt wordt in onze meetMILK collecties is gecertificeerd door Lenzing waardoor de duurzame kwaliteit gegarandeerd is.
